GRD Home Improvement – Terms & Conditions
By placing an order, paying an invoice, approving drawings, accepting delivery of materials, or otherwise proceeding with a purchase from GRD Home Improvement (“GRD”), Buyer acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Payment Terms
Full payment is required before any order is processed, released, manufactured, delivered, scheduled, or fabricated unless otherwise agreed to in writing by GRD.
A 3% processing fee applies to all credit/debit card transactions and is non-refundable once payment has been processed.
Orders are subject to supplier availability, pricing, and confirmation.
2. Pricing, Quotes & Bundled Discounts
Package pricing, promotional pricing, and bundled discounts are based on the purchase of all quoted items together. If any item is canceled, removed, changed, or refunded, all related discounts and package pricing may be revoked and remaining items repriced at standard retail rates.
Quotes, pricing, lead times, and availability are subject to change without notice prior to order confirmation and payment.
3. Design Services & Drawings
Any drawings, layouts, renderings, floor plans, specifications, shop drawings, elevations, or design work prepared by GRD remain the sole property of GRD Home Improvement and are provided exclusively for use with products purchased through GRD.
Designs, renderings, layouts, and specifications may not be copied, reproduced, shared, submitted to competitors, reused, or utilized for purchasing from another supplier without written authorization from GRD.
A minimum $250 administrative/design fee applies once drawings, layouts, renderings, order preparation, product selection assistance, or related administrative work has been completed or released to Buyer. This fee is non-refundable, including cancellations made within 48 hours.
3D renderings, floor plans, drawings, elevations, and layouts are provided solely for conceptual, planning, and visual reference purposes and shall not be relied upon as final installation, construction, engineering, architectural, or field measurement documents.
4. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 48 hours of placement; however, all applicable administrative/design fees and credit card processing fees remain non-refundable.
After 48 hours, canceled orders are subject to a minimum cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total order amount in addition to any applicable design fees, supplier charges, freight costs, processing fees, restocking fees, special-order charges, or fabrication costs already incurred.
Custom, special-order, assembled, modified, fabricated, non-stock, or made-to-order items cannot be canceled once processing, procurement, fabrication, manufacturing, or production has begun.
Deposits and payments made toward custom or special-order products may be non-refundable.
5. Returns & Exchanges
All return requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery or pickup approval and are subject to inspection, supplier approval, and authorization by GRD.

6. Inspection, Delivery & Claims
Buyer must inspect all products immediately upon delivery or pickup.
Any claim for damage, shortage, defect, incorrect product, visible freight damage, or shipping issue must be reported to GRD in writing within 48 hours of delivery or pickup.
Failure to provide written notice within 48 hours constitutes full acceptance of all materials and waiver of any related claims.
Visible delivery damage must be noted at the time of delivery.
Estimated delivery dates are approximate only and are not guaranteed. GRD shall not be liable for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, freight carriers, labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, weather, government actions, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, or events beyond reasonable control.
Buyer is responsible for providing safe and accessible delivery conditions. Additional delivery, storage, redelivery, handling, or waiting-time charges may apply when necessary.
Orders not picked up within 14 days of notice of availability may incur storage fees. Orders abandoned for more than 30 days may be deemed abandoned and disposed of without refund.
7. Measurements, Design, Installation & Site Conditions
Buyer and/or Buyer’s contractor is solely responsible for verifying all final field measurements, dimensions, appliance specifications, fillers, clearances, utility locations, installation requirements, product selections, and all job-site conditions prior to placing an order, approving drawings, fabrication, delivery, or beginning installation.
GRD Home Improvement does not perform final field verification unless specifically agreed to in writing and shall not be responsible for errors resulting from measurements, specifications, or information provided by Buyer, contractor, installer, designer, architect, builder, or any third party.
Buyer acknowledges that all dimensions, layouts, renderings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D drawings provided by GRD are conceptual only and are not guaranteed field measurements or installation/construction documents.
Buyer and/or installer is solely responsible for confirming proper fitment and compatibility with existing site conditions, including but not limited to walls, floors, ceilings, framing, plumbing, electrical, appliance specifications, uneven surfaces, access limitations, and applicable building/code requirements prior to installation.
GRD Home Improvement shall not be liable for measurement discrepancies, installation errors, modification costs, labor charges, delays, contractor claims, or damages arising from field conditions, site variations, improper measurements, or failure to verify conditions prior to ordering or installation.
8. Product Variations & Material Characteristics
Buyer acknowledges that wood products, painted finishes, stains, quartz, stone, flooring, printed materials, laminates, and manufactured surfaces may naturally vary in color, texture, grain, veining, shade, pattern, finish, and appearance from samples, photographs, displays, renderings, or previous orders.
Such variations are normal and shall not constitute defects or grounds for cancellation, replacement, refund, or claim.
9. Limitation of Liability
GRD Home Improvement’s maximum liability for any claim, dispute, defect, delay, or loss is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the specific product giving rise to the claim.
Under no circumstances shall GRD be liable for:

10. Warranty Disclaimer
GRD Home Improvement is a distributor/reseller and does not manufacture products unless otherwise expressly stated.
Manufacturer warranties, if any, are provided solely by the manufacturer and remain subject to the manufacturer’s own terms, limitations, exclusions, inspection procedures, and approval process.
Except as expressly stated herein, GRD disclaims all express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Chargebacks, Collections & Legal Fees
Buyer agrees not to initiate improper chargebacks or payment disputes for validly supplied products, approved orders, completed design work, or authorized transactions.
Initiating a chargeback for validly supplied products or services constitutes breach of agreement.
Buyer shall remain responsible for all unpaid balances and agrees to reimburse GRD for all collection costs, chargeback fees, attorney fees, court costs, administrative costs, and related legal expenses arising from non-payment, collection efforts, or disputes.
12. Entire Agreement & Severability
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Buyer and GRD Home Improvement and supersede any prior discussions, representations, estimates, verbal statements, or understandings.
No verbal statements, promises, or representations by any employee, contractor, salesperson, or representative shall modify these Terms unless confirmed in writing by GRD.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California.
Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising from any transaction with GRD Home Improvement shall be handled exclusively in Riverside County, California.
